HOW TO MEASURE FOR WALLPAPER: A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

You've decided to wallpaper a space, lovely! Now let's make sure you order the right amount.
To measure a wall for our wallpaper, you'll need a measuring tape and a pen or pencil to note down the measurements. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you:
Determine the height of the wall: Use the measuring tape to measure from the floor to the ceiling or desired height where you want the wallpaper to reach. Note down this measurement. Our Peel and Stick Removable Woven and Pre-pasted Removable Smooth Wallpapers are available in three, six, nine or twelve foot long sections. Round up to choose the roll length that is larger than needed for the target wall. For example, if the wall is 8 feet high, then the 9 foot roll is best. Keep in mind that walls are not always completely even, so take a few measurements in different places to make sure the roll will be long enough.
Measure the width of the wall: Begin at one side of the wall and extend the measuring tape horizontally across to the other side. Make sure the tape is straight and taut. Note down this measurement.
Divide the width of the wall by the width of the wallpaper: Since the wallpaper we sell is 24" wide, divide the width of the wall by 24. This will give you the number of wallpaper strips you'll need to cover the width of the wall.
Example: If the width of the wall is 120", you would divide 120 by 24, which equals 5. This means you'll need 5 wallpaper strips.
